    As I recall it
    Magma (+ boots)
    Zappa
    KC (+ boots)
    Kraan (+ boots)
    Univers Zero (+ boots)
    Art Zoyd
    Beatles
    Jean-Paul Bourelly
    Hendrix
    Holdsworth
    Miles Davis
    Brian Eno
    Gentle Giant
    Gong (both versions)
    Soft Machine
    Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
    Terje Rypdal (+ boots)
    Wheather report
And a lot of bands where I have less than 8 albums... and lots of bands I have both as LP and CD.
But... the great bands that were most prolific would naturally be more repesented, so if Henry Cow, Hatfield, Area, etc. had made more...

It's probably a close race between Genesis and They Might Be Giants.

Genesis would take the trophy, though, since I've re-bought some of those albums several times.

Glad you like it! I rank Hindemith very high among other composers of 20th Cent., and I suspect he is still undiscovered by many, who would love his music. He was very productive, and inventive as much as Stravinsky. And Hindemith had a rare melodic talent!

^Hindemith was also an important conductor, of his own music, of course, and that of Bruckner, the composer he said he liked conducting most next to his own music.

Is that the band after Ten Years After?

Some of these numbers were crazy.

What is going to happen to all our stuff after our spirits have slipped away?

Why should I care? When I'm dead, I'm dead. No next of kin to care for it. If I die, no-one will miss me.

Not that you care but what happens to all these massive collections?

    Thrown out?

Perhaps they end in some thrift store, which throws them out when they can't sell them. Though I'm not sure of the last part.
I've worked as a volunteer in a trift store. CD's came in, some were sold and the rest ended in stock. I don't know how many CDs from a cheap series of Bach CDs we had. But throw them away, or just take them, was a no go. We had more CDs than room to store them. Most of it was run of the mill stuff, that everyone had, like James Last, André Rieu, or BZN. (I wouldn't take it for free)

    Grateful Dead- 58
Magma- 82, plus over 200 live recordings
    Neil Young- 36
    Bob Dylan- 29
    King Crimson- 32
    Miles Davis- 36
    John Coltrane- 42
    Beethoven- 32

This is after I sold my LP collection or these numbers would be much higher.
I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.
