I can only relate to #'s 1, 3, 9 (I suspect that one is generational. Not as many young people go around asking that question vs when I was in my teens), 10, I'm guilty of #11, & I've definitely encountered #21.
they should have stopped at #10.
#20 would be me. Not only do I have to sing along to certain songs, but if there's handclaps (even electronically generated ones, like on Doot-Doot or Tomorrow) have to be done. And if Radio Ga-Ga comes on, I not only have to do the handclaps, but...you remember the video? Well, I have to do that too.
#18 - #19 not so much, but the others... Yeah. Me. "What, you don't think that actor on this obscure B movie looks like Steve Howe? Oh, you think I mean the deceased baseball player. Yeesh."
Actually, not #4, except inasmuch as I don't ever play "Tom Sawyer" or "Bohemian Rhapsody" for myself anymore.
#3 is brilliant though. God that annoys me.
definitely number three
#20.All the time.
"please do not understand me too quickly"-andre gide
#9 annoys the heck out of me. Of course I'm at a loss when someone asks what music I like. I want to give an answer that they will understand, but at the same time cover all the different things I'm into. Just saying prog gets a blank stare, and it's not a totally accurate answer.
Even a lot of my non-prog favorite artists just get blank stares if I mention them.
2, 8, 9, 11 (sometimes a bit)
But well, I don't really have people I talk about music with.
