If it's half as good as the last one it will be in my Top 10 of the year

It's quite true, and Arjen has been posting these details on a daily basis on his facebook page. He's been doing a "Guess the musician" contest for the last few albums now. There's been a few more names recently, but they aren't well known (to me, anyway).

Absolutely. Perilous is a beautiful album, and much of it is not Yes-like at all really. For some reason I thought it was going to be a heavier album, perhaps by the title, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely one of their best, I'd say.

OK, went to the Ayreon facebook page. And the guests that I'm pretty happy to hear are on this?

    Keith Emerson
    Rick Wakeman
    Jordan Rudess
    Steve Hackett
    John Wetton

These guys alone cover ELP, Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, UK and Dream Theater. Can't say I've heard of anyone else aside from Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia -good choice. But I'm getting excited about this release now.

Have the release of these been delayed? I haven't seen these at Wayside.

I talked to Marcello & Steve at RIO a couple of weeks ago at RIO, Marcello was going to send them to Wayside once hew got back to the office so given transit time they'll probably show up in the next few weeks.

OK, I know it's early and it won't be this year, but according to the IQ website, their new studio album will be released May 3, 2014. Countdown is on!
