Julian Cope "The Greatness & Perfection of Love"

A darned near perfect pop song. That is all.

Haven't heard much of his solo stuff but The Teardrop Explodes were a pretty cool band and probably worth exploring for the average prog fan.

As are "China Doll" from 'Saint Julian', and "Beautiful Love" from 'Peggy Suicide'.

'World Shut Your Mouth" is a great album. As is 'Fried'.

His productivity levels - then and now - are in the Steven Wilson range.

His krautrock influenced era (around "Jehovahkill") produced some wonderful albums.
