What do you mean "was once "royalty?'" The royal family will always rule over England, with an iron fist, an oaken shield, and a stout club for naysayers.

Well they're still royalty though their power is now symbolic. They're still the biggest landowners in the UK.

Symbolic my foot! I dare any of you to speak against the royal family! They assumed complete control centuries ago.

Seriously though, has anyone ever challenged their rights to the landownership? Was it actually made legitimate at some point (deeds issued, etc.) as opposed to saying it's God's will? Have people squatted on the royal land?

I hereby swear to execute by my own hand ANY and ALL who attempt to deny by word or action the rights and claims of this royal infant. I am his sworn protector. Thanks to the hundred urgings of CNN, FOX, and MSNBC I have decided that they are right, and this royal baby is a gift to the world that we all must cherish and uphold. To stand in my way on ANY matter is to impede the very will of the royal infant and successor to the throne, and I will no longer stand for it. Thank you, royal babe, for empowering me to the utmost. Any action is now justified in my mind.*

    *Ok, not really.

Dude, I get it. But it ain't the Queen who's calling the shots. You should know that.
