Two words - Mega. Moon.
Holy Shit! What a tune!
Loving the rest of the new album and can't wait for the gig next month
What if the Hokey Cokey really IS what it's all about?
Got my email to download the album! (pre-ordered) Glad to see its in English. I have Lovers end, but all the information on the disk is in Japanese, so I have to go specifically looking for it. It isn't recognized with the rest of my Moon Safari collection (in my phone) - Any way to fix that? I'd even buy another copy if it would help.
I got nothin' :
...avoiding any implication that I have ever entertained a cognizant thought.

Sugar Band
You gotta make a video for that one
It's on Progstreaming right now, for only one week
This is only the second album so far this year which I really like as an album, not just a couple songs. But I didn't expect anything different, I pretty much knew that this should be good
Yep, another uplifting, moving and wonderful album - full of exciting playing, rich harmonies, bittersweet/nostalgic lyrics, and some great songs given the most gloriously extravagant and affectionate arrangements. But like I teased on Facebook, ending the album on an imperfect cadence does make me rather anxious to hear the tonic kicking in to being Vol. 2 when it comes...
I think that alongside a select few like Frost and Transatlantic, it's hard for me to think of a new generation Prog band I love as much as this one. In fact, it's hard for me to think of any of the old early 70s iconic Prog bands that make me react in such a positive and sentimental way as I do to my favourite Moon Safari moments. A very special band.

I gave it a good listen on Progstreaming while waiting for preorder to ship. I had no fear it would spoil the fun - I know that a Moon Safari album would be in heavy rotation in my player for a long, long time!
"The world will soon be right again,
Innocence and undying love will reign." - Transatlantic
"Megamoon"...
Mix a little Disney, a little Beach Boys, a little Queen, a little Styx, a little Zappa, a little Gong, and you've got perhaps the tastiest casserole in Prog.
"Diamonds" is getting a lot of love from me at the moment!
I bought the new Moon Safari in digital format from their bandcamp page and am blown away by it, they have raised the bar with Himlabacken, absolutely brilliant.
Mega Moon is a mini-epic in how it's constructed. It's like the guys took a 25 minute song and squeezed the essentials out into 8:30 of awesomeness!
What if the Hokey Cokey really IS what it's all about?
So far, my only complaint is that "My Little Man" threatens to put me into insulin shock.
"Mega Moon" may be battling with Spock's Beard's "Waiting for Me" as my SONG FOR 2013.
