3RDegree & John Galgano w/Izz Lite THIS Saturday at Orion Sound in Baltimore!

Don't miss this Saturday's show at Mike Potter's ORION SOUND STUDIOS in Baltimore, MD. Here's a snippet of "A Work Of Art" from the band's new THE LONG DIVISION album played just this past Saturday at NJ Proghouse (night one of tour). Bill Fox of Pinnacle guests on sax:

And here's a bit of John Galgano w/Izz Lite doing one of Izz's best songs "Late Night Salvation" at Prog On The Sound in Connecticut on Monday (night two of tour). John and co. are also doing some prog covers (spoiler alert: King Crimson/ELP/Yes/Genesis) as well as cuts from his new album REAL LIFE IS MEETING:

Both bands are getting along famously and are even thinking of adding dates! Time will tell.

An understatement. I really enjoyed 3RDegree on CD, but MAN, you guys are killing it live! So masterful...the songs are soaring, and the grooves are SO tight. One of the great things about 3RDegree is the soulfulness of the writing and playing. I feel like the heavy hand of prog metal influences a lot of what's being written today, so it's refreshing to hear bands with a different take. You guys seem to recognize that Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder had a pretty progressive approach at one time, and that something can be complex and funky at the same time.

^ Agree with all that, AND man o man, wait'll you hear George Dobbs sing LIVE - he's a powerhouse of a man possessed! He almost doesn't NEED a mic.

Thanks Brian! Well put. Our heaviest influence from the prog school is really barely prog and that's King's X, Soundgarden and I guess Queensryche. George is definitely a big part of what makes us a strange bird but there's definitely grooves and at the same time-a penchant for odd times!
