Apologies if this band has been mentioned.Sean Tonar hipped me to Bill In The Tea's cd Big Tree. They're not trying to reinvent the wheel, but what they do they do well, imo.I hear the sound of quality in much of their music from this cd,and that's always the bottom line, for me.I bought the cd and it's a winner.

    YMMV.

I have their CD and I really like it. They deserve to mentioned more than once here.

The performances are excellent, honestly. And nice to get cover versions of VDGG's "Darkness" and KC's "In The Wake Of Poseidon".... I just expected better sound.

I bought this a while back and I really like it too. I think your description is good, not "reinventing the wheel" but really solid, enjoyable stuff. I haven't revisited this for a while, so I'm queuing it up as my next CD. Definitely worthy of mention here, I think a lot of people would like this, but it seemed to have a really low profile.

The new Pandora album is now finished.

It was supposed to be some rerecordings of older songs (in English) and some cover versions.

Hope to get more news soon.

The singer and some of the songwriting have a very Jeff Buckley sound to them. Like it.

Also, I can't believe this thread is still going.

Asgard are working on a comeback album called "Ragnarökkr" (very different lineup with only the original Bass Player and Keyboardist)

It also looks like Jumbo will reform with the original lineup...

Alvaro Fella seems like one of those guys who would sound better as he got older, especially with an additional whiskey or two... My personal opinion is that Jumbo's Vietato is the single greatest Italian prog album, despite the immense and formidable competition from the same era and place. If they could recapture that lightning in a bottle again, whoo, I may call it a lifetime right there.

Would love that to happen, but the source is not official so far. At least Alvaro will have an album out backed by C.A.P. very soon.

A new album by Astrolabio seems to be closing in.

Also Greenwall will have a new album soon, which seems to be Pink Floyd cover versions (and might be called Green Side of the Moon).

I Treni All'Alba have officialy disbanded...

Great news! I loved In Classic, but since then it's been multiple archival live releases, which were fun but expensive to collect. A new album is what I'm looking for!

I don't have time to read through all 35 pages, but I hope someone mentioned Barock Project's Skyline. That CD is very entertaining. Good sound, good musicianship, great feel. Really like this one.

Of course it was (their other albums too). Good album, but somehow to long and a bit samey over the time.

Studio bonus track from their new 2CD live album VIVIO:
