A Do-Rag, or as I call it it, an "I'm Gonna Kill You" Hat.
Stella has just announced that a studio version of "Slag Tanz" (with an extra section, not on Epok 5) will be recorded in september. A new studio version of "Riah Sahiltaahk" is also being considered.
Just got the DVD. Mastering is much better than past DVDs they have done. I am enjoying songs that are not among my fave Magma songs, and Riah is really growing on me. Benoit has become indispensable. Am also interested in the new disc coming later this year, as well as the Offering concerts coming up. Time for new music!
Plus lots of good people in the interviews: Marc Adler, Steve Davis, Marie-Emmanuelle Bretel, etc.

Just received and watched Epok V this afternoon.
What an incredible performance! Absolutely stunning..
My one criticism would be the decision to include interviews in between the songs. Poor form. These could have easily been a special feature or a separate chapter. Thanks to DVD editors, I'll be making a disc with the full performance and the interviews all included afterward.
A minor point though. What a show. 'Slag Tanz' is absolutely incredible.
Apparently, the japanese edition includes some bonus goodies...

So I have had this on non-stop since I got it. It gets better each time I play it, and while I initially felt that Slag Tanz was static, the version here just is mind-bogglingly intense. I canot stop watching. Bubu is astonishing on bass. It just keeps blowing my mind. And the bass line on Maahnt has to be incredibly difficult to play over and over and over. Plus, Herve's singing is incredible. I love this disc, big time. Every composition is just amazing. And boy, can Stella sing1

I'll probably have to get this at some stage

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Don't wait. Get it now. It is worth every penny and is pure intensity from start to finish.

I am higly intrigued by what I hear with these clips- the songs sound almost lush, more liquid than the album versions or past versions I have heard. The focus seems to be solely on the vocal lines, with sort of minimal backing. But I am dying to hear all of Another Day!

Old thread, but now Alice. Got up today and threw this DVD on. Absolutely slays. These performances are just top shelf. This DVD has me in love with "Riah" and "Slag Tanz" more than ever before. I've always loved "Felicite" and it's great of course. 11/10.
PS, I like the interviews, it's breaks up the music and gives me a minute to grab coffee or use the loo
Bussonnet and MacGaw are just monsters, I guess I should spin One Shot again, eh?
