The New Grove Project - Fool's Journey

This is one I heard mp3s of years ago but never got around to buying, and then kind of forgot about. I came across a perfectly good used copy for $8.99 while in Montreal last weekend, so it was a good opportunity to finally add it to my collection! I had completely forgotten all of the songs, but they're great... lots of tasty keyboards from Per Sundbom and the great Pär Lindh, as well as some typically strong guitar work from Roine Stolt. I like the quirkiness to some of the tracks as well, it has a slightly different sound but overall fits nicely into that 'Flower Kings and loosely-related bands' section of my shelf.

Give this one a spin if you haven't done so for a while, it's nice stuff!

It's the album that made me decide to check out The Flower Kings back in the day Bought it new.
It's a lovely, honest piece of work. Vocals are bit to get used to.
Initially bought it for Par Lindh's involvement.

"Very, very nice," said a man in the crowd,
    When the golden voice appeared.
She was gold alright, but then so is rust.
