    Speaking of Ian's singing, that's another thing I was pleasantly surprised with on TAAB2. Again, still not where he was in his prime, but it sounded better than previous Tull albums.

    It's in his range, which is about the same as Mark Knopfler's these days. The reason he sounds so bad in concert is that he plays so much from the earliest Tull albums.
