    The Heat's Streak is Over!

Great game last night against the Bulls. Haven't been following real closely this year but both teams are impressive. The reason I am real happy is that the 72 Lakers record is intact. When I was a kid the Celtics always beat them and Dad was a big Celtic fan. Yeah, it was tough to take. Finally, Boston isn't there and they lost to the Knicks. But This was the year they put it all together. West, Chamberlain, Goodrich, Hairston etc. an unbelievable streak. Still remember them losing to the Bucks to have the streak broken. The losses always seem to linger.

I'm not disappointed the the streak ended. Now they can just concentrate on the playoffs and Finals. But 27 in a row won't be easy to tie or break.

Yes, this will stay 2nd best for a long while. Winning a third of the season in a row is pretty amazing.

You got that right. They are going to have to find something else to talk about for at least 2 hours a day.

Could you imagine how good teams could have been in the past if they had the ability to stack a team like the Heat did.
