    Ambient Binge 2019

Inspired by Canterbury Binge thread and the sunny weather, I decided to post this thread in favor to celebrate Ambient music - both "classic" and newer stuff.
I'd like to start this thread with five tracks that are off the top of my head.

Hiroshi Yoshimura ‎– 'View from my window', from 'Music For Nine Post Cards', 1982.

Jon Hassell and Brian Eno - 'Chemistry', from 'Fourth World Vol.1', 1980.

Harold Budd / Brian Eno - 'First Light', from 'Ambient 2 (The Plateaux Of Mirror)', 1980

Boards of Canada - 'Happy Cycling', from ''Music Has the Right to Children', 1998 / 2004 Warp re-release.

Paleowolf - 'Megaloceros' from 'Megafauna Rituals', 2017

Please post your favourities & discuss.

Pretty big fan of my own stuff. Here's a short piece I love.

When I'm not listening to me, this Fripp & Eno performance is a favorite.

Hiroshi Yoshimura is all the rage on Youtube these days, isn't he? He's got about a dozen albums up on YT all of them very good if you go for this sort of thing...

Surprisingly almost nothing of his is available on CD format. Someone has issued a few of them on vinyl, which I don't get. Pops and scratches on ambient vinyl are really annoying. Anyway I hope some CD reissues will follow.

Yeah, Youtubers pulled him out of obscurity.

    I've always loved this one:

"And if Warhol's a genius, what am I? A speck of lint on the penis of an alien?"
