    Vangelis' The Thread

A poor review in The Guardian for this new dance piece with music by Vangelis: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/20...nic-riverdance

The overbearing music, which can’t let a downbeat pass by without thwacking it, gives breathing space to neither dance style.
    Vangelis sometimes does that.

I have to admit, I did have some hopes that the Thread music would be a bit meatier than what we got with Nocturne. In truth though, it's been quite some time since I heard anything from him that captured my interest/excitement.

No biggie, I'll just go pop on Soil Festivities, Blade Runner and Direct and all will be just fine in the world
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Also, Ephemeral Sun: it's a thing and we like making things that might be your thing: https://ephemeralsun.bandcamp.com

    Ahhh ... the critics ...

Can't wait to get the music, to my ears, a very dynamic Vangelis, what I hear, I love.

^^ Is there a plan to release the music? I was under the impression this was a live performance thing, not necessarily a planned recording.

    Soil Festivities is fuh-lippin' amazing.

Direct is a special one. I bought that baby new on cassette, with its "two cassette-only bonus tracks," lol. The thing is, "Dial Out" ended up being one of the best cuts!
