[They] agreed that it was neither possible nor necessary to educate people who never questioned anything.

It'll be on another hundred times. Probably later tonight.

Great performance! The keyboard player, Gil Assayas nailed the gig.

I am a huge fan of Rungren both in Utopia and solo but was disappointed in this show. Not sure if it's age or desire but his singing voice seems in decline (to me) and his scatting just sounded off. They didn't sound tight to me and they are very lucky that Gil Assayas was on keys. I think he was the glue musically even though they didn't really nail their changes as well as I had seen in the past when they originally were a band. Maybe not enough rehearsals. I really had looked forward to this and was going to buy the concert on blu ray when it is released but now probably not.

This is a pretty nice clip, but I miss hearing an actual bass on this. I guess they were playing to a sequenced bass. Kasim nailed the guitar part though.

Just sitting at home rocking back and forth and jealously caressing my invisible collection of theoretical assets.

I may be wrong, but I think sequencers have always been used on this tune. Here's a 1982 clip:

Cool clip! But I am thinking the studio version has real bass on it?

Yeah, there's some really funky bass on the studio version.
