    The fade on the title track is indeed appalling but so is the one on 'Congo' IMHO. I find the single edit of the latter preferable, because of this.

    The fade on Congo bothers me less because it occurs on the second repetition of a section that has already been played in full once before the fade out. I never perceived this one as an anomaly.
    Not just a Genesis fanboy.

    I think the issue with Congo, is the song has finally gotten really interesting, really cool when the fade happens. The single is much worse for me because it cuts out that whole section, the section I listen to the song for.
