    Sea Level

They kind of went under the radar as just an Allman Brothers spin off band, but this band was excellent on stage. There’s a full show from 77 on YouTube. Jimmy Nalls (RIP) is fantastic. I never heard the last album though. Their instrumentals were the best. Love the vocal track That’s Your Secret.

Great, great band. They never played near me, unfortunately. RIP Lamar Williams and Jimmy Nalls.

Saw them play my college back in the day. I was blown away.

yup, that was my take on it

Allman bros without those annoying country rock influences (though SL wasn't completely free of them either)
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Real Gone Music has released two 2-disc CD's, with 4 albums on them.

I saw them open for Renaissance at Radio City Music Hall on 2/18/77. They were unmemorable.

    But you remembered

Reminds me of seeing Genesis in 1977, with a trio that opened for them called Makker Rakker en Stakker, which could be translated as Mate Rascal and Wrench (but that doesn't sound too well). Completely unmemorable music, but I still remember it.
