I have on good authority that Stewart/Gaskin do not consider themselves prog and won't perform at any prog festivals or spaces. However, there is always some hope there may be a stateside appearance in the near future.

Same here. I'm there no matter. Already thinking about what to bring for the third annual prog beer snobs tasting.

    And they would be correct.

Just for fun, I'll mention that three of the bands that have been listed so far have already been spoken with and are not going to be able to perform. One band that has been listed is currently in negotiations.

I’m unbelievably sad to learn that Knifeworld, Slapp Happy, and Sunn0))) won’t be able to perform this year, but I’m glad you asked them!

Curious LEO's would be coming from miles around.
Progday don't need that kind of attention.

Cheer Accident is the one in negotiation. (Just guessing.)

FYI Sunn O))) is coming to the Howard in DC this spring. I HIGHLY recommend seeing them and I HIGHLY recommend bringing the strongest earplugs you can find

I didn't realize the Howard was still a thing.
Their calendar sure is sparse, it must be pure pay to play, rental hall.

Hooffoot would be fabulous, but maybe not feasible?
Dewa Budjana (hey, Discus and SimakDialog have both played Progday, so....)
Phideaux (already announced for Progstock, though)

Many great bands already mentioned I've seen, but would love to see again.

I thought I'd heard that they had closed, to be honest. Apparently not.

I like the venue well enough, it isn't my favorite joint by any stretch though. I'll gladly watch Sunn O))) shake the paint off the walls though

It does look kind of sparse. I really liked going there, but a $15 hamburger is kinda hard to swallow, even with an $8 beer.

I think they need some new blood. The intro to this song reminds me of Goblin's Profondo Rosso.
