Heads up for the UK members here...

Here's 'Pirates' from a gig last year to wet your appetite...

Tickets are on sale now - please message me for full details.

Cheers, I use a Modular Moog (with built in Minimoog), a Roland JD800,, an Ensoniq SD-1, Oberheim Prosynth module, Alesis QSR module, an Alesis QS8 and a Hammond L100.

I'm wondering if there are actually any UK based ELP fans on here who would like to see a tribute to them using the original equipment..!?!
I've posted our gigs before on here but there never seem to be any takers.

    I'm interested in coming along.
I do recall spotting a previous posting of yours regarding a gig (also in Rochdale) but couldn't make it for some reason or other on that particular occasion.
I'd suggest posting information about gigs on this site is definitely worth doing.

If you come to Glasgow I'm there!

How much of the setlist is post BSS?

    'Pirates' and 'Fanfare' basically.

The rest is pre-BSS or BSS itself. We also play KE9 1st Imp, Jerusalem and Toccata from BSS.
The others are from the first album, Tarkus and Trilogy.
Currently revisiting Pictures in rehearsals too.

We're playing at "Prog In The Park" at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfirmline, Fife on 6th April if you wanna check that one out.

    Cheerz.

Yes - very nice work! Hopefully, some posters read and attend this show without posting here.

I'd check it our for sure if I were nearby but you should definitely post on here, the Progarchives forum and the prog forums on Reddit too. I'm not sure if I am leaving any out (someone else please chime in) but you need to almost over-advertise these days as far as I am concerned.

Sadly I will be in England on the date in question holidaying with family else that sounded like a real goer.

As for the post BSS material, I can nip out for a quick curry.

Well, if you are OK coming down to England then why not also come down some other time when we are playing...!?

I can't help it! The phrase is "to whet your appetite," not to wet it. Whet means to sharpen, as in sharpening a blade on a leather strop, like a barber would do. Sorry, usually I can ignore these things but this one got the best of me.

I am well aware of the phrase using "whet"... but I used 'wet' because I wanted folk to visualise a 'moistening' or 'celebration' - as in "wetting the baby's head" - if you "get my drift"...!?

    How cool is this!!!

If you ever make it to Texas I am there! Sorry. I've been to London once back in '96. Unless a big bag of money crashes through my roof, its not likely I will see the continent again. It was wonderful. But what you have there is really something special. I wish you good luck.

So just two weeks to go... and still no takers (apart from *r2daft2*)...?

It is 'Prog' you know, and this is 'Progressive Ears' - strange...!

R2daft2 is retired and lives in Lancashire, just down the road probably from where your playing. That probably answers your question.

If I had no commitments and pots of cash...

There is well over 1,000 views on your post. There could very well be folks who open the thread and don't post but check out the show.

That would be good - however no one has messaged me for details or ordered tickets as yet... so I'm assuming no one is interested...!?
Funny for a Prog forum though...
