New Banco del Mutuo Soccorso album

As the title says. Due out in April on InsideOut apparently. No info on their website so far. I read about it here (in German):
    http://www.progrock-dt.de/index.php/...corso-geplant/
And they're quoting this website (in Italian):
    https://www.rockol.it/news-700035/ba...v0Q&refresh_ce
I'm sure more info will emerge in the coming weeks and months. What will it be like without Francesco di Giacomo and Rodolfo Maltese though...

Great news ! Are both Nocenzi brothers involved in this project ?

I wish It will be a fully instrumental album... never was a big fan of Francesco's singing/voice.

Just Vittorio Nocenzi and his son (or nephew). Francesco will of course not be there (RIP).
They have a new singer though.

A certain Tony D'Alessio, according to the Italian link I posted. His RYM page mentions a few bands I've never heard of: https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/tony_dalessio

Well, that cover looks familiar. Question is: will there be a vinyl version in a novelty gatefold sleeve...

I’ve been through the album a few times and I’m pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to the physical product.

Vittorio's son, Michelangelo And another son, Mario Valerio, is involved in the project, this time supporting for the marketing side.

New singer is Tony D'Alessio. I don't know much about him but the Wikipedia entry mentions he was associated with the Italian version of the TV show X-Factor.
No matter what anyone says, you are the decider of how you will listen to music.

The longest song is only 6 minutes?

Is this sentiment somehow supposed to be a serious objection? That songs aren't "long enough"? Does musical quality reflect in or even depend upon the length of the pieces?

Hey, if there isn't at least one song over 20 min. split in at least 5 parts it aint PROG

And here was I, thinking that it's those dreadful 'avantists' who kept hijacking the beloved definition!

I can give or take old italians reforming or revitalizing, but there have been some good things coming out of it - mostly from bands who never had to bother with "commercial" aspirations or commitments. Of course, at this stage, nor do Banco. So I'm anticipating this release.

I heard that this is a cold album.
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

It really is, it is a GPS tracking game, you have to be in a 5 Miles radius of the dots shown on the map to be able to play
    the according song...
