I was going to buy tickets for Mott The Hoople, as Cleveland is one of the cities lucky enough to be booked for one of the 8 dates on this (mini) tour. Going to the website was a shock. All of the tickets appear to be electronic, and the best seats are north of $750 per. Most Balcony seats are near $150. I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I saw Ian in the 70s for around 8 bucks, in the same type of venue. With a real ticket.
Come to Boston. I went to the Orpheum box office and got a pretty good balcony seat for $40.

Got confirmation that there will indeed be no DC area dates this tour, unfortunately.

That's crazy. I'm going to have to do some digging.

Awesome! Just snagged 4th row center. Looks like I'll be road tripping back to my home town. Actually flying, screw that driving sh*t.

Per seating chart, we may be sitting very close to one another. I have seats 25/26 in row F.

I'll be in row C in Chicago, on the left end. Row C is front row.

Even better!!!! I saw that on the venue map but was assuming there was an A & B orchestra pit or something.

Actually, Steve performed at the Agora Ballroom in Dallas on Nov 22, 1981 on his "Cured" tour. I was there and it was awesome! Hasn't performed here since that I know of.

I didn’t see that as an option when I bought tickets for Tucson. But the Fox does have a nice area for that. When Nils Lofgren played there last time I got to do a meet and greet because my sis knows him. Nils just circulated in the room for a while saying hello and then we informally waited in line to get some photos. He is a very nice lad.

Anyway, I sure wouldn’t mind getting to say hello to Mr. Hackett...are there meet n greet packages at most of the other shows?

^ Thanks for the pointer. I'll definitely give it some thought. The cost of the tour program and print would probably be pushing $40, so this is probably worth it if I can make it happen.
