All great but I think fusion of PinioL reigns supreme! Hopefully there is more to come.

PoiL is releasing new album this spring I believe.

Thanks for the admins for fixing the thread name!

About The Artaud Beats that I mentioned earlier]. I have now listened album Logos (2015) three times and it is quite interesting even if little uneven album. Very recommended for Henry Cow and Art Bears fans. I love the title song!

I see that The Artaud Beats have released one live album called Nodutgang, Bodo 28.10.11. Any comments about it?

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I never know what to make of these types of albums, having seen them live at RIO a few years ago I can visualize the band as I hear the music which certainly helps, but this kind of improvisation is tough on me.

Glad to hear you like Jeremy Flower -he deserves to be better known than he is. He is working on a second album fortunately. Here's the link for the two Rabbit Rabbit Radio CDs (the first is available from their bandcamp page) http://www.klanggalerie.com/gg280

Is the Artaud Beats record available anywhere online to preview/buy MP3/stream?

And yeah the Curlew record on offer from Cuneiform last week I picked up, very very cool interesting sounds. Need to spin it some more!

I feel I'm entering the PHD faculty lounge. But what the heck. Any fans of Absolute Zero? I've been listening to Crashing Icons. This band is rarely mentioned. Great stuff. Too bad it's their only album.

Ni is also releasing a new album at the beginning of March. Poil released a split with Mula from Colombia (IRC) just a few months ago and indeed a new album in spring.

Apparently ni are releasing a new album

The PoiL - Mula split release isn't bad at all.

North Sea Radio Orchestra: avant-prog or not? Maybe not but very nice chamber rock/prog anyway. I got their 2016 album Dronne today which is quite lovely.

Just finished listening to U Totem - s/n. Wow, haven't heard that one in years. Pretty complex stuff but still there are some rewarding moments, specially on the last two tracks The Judas Goat and Vagabonds Home.

For all Henry Cow fans check this one.

Chamber Rock/Pop for me, lovely stuff, huge fan. Going to see them play Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom at the RIO festival this year. Should be very interesting.

I would really like to see that show. Especially as I love John Greaves who is also performing with NSRO. In fact I am still considering about travelling there...

Now listening Henry Cow: Concerts. First disc is just amazing but I gotta admit that I have serious problems with disc two...
