Like him or not I think Mike Patton is famous for a little bit more than an iphone video bashing Wolfmother. Hack?

I'll happily listen to him in Mr Bungle all the time.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Compact Disk brought high fidelity to the masses and audiophiles will never forgive it for that
I do thinks it's funny that he gets heckled during one of his Italian crooner songs and gets mad tells them to "fuck off". Didn't he expect that to happen.
A nephew of mine (30ish) heard a song from my playlist, Everything's Ruined from Faith No More and asked who it was; didn't ring a bell. I said, "Mr Bungle?"; nope. Dude on YT saying "Wolfmother you SUCK!" -> "Oh, that guy!?"
For some perspective, here's a TV appearance with Robert Plant and John Bonham both still twenty years old.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
they haven't impressed me. saw them on SNL and their material did nothing for me. when it comes to good straight ahead r&r, i prefer Stone Temple Pilots - especially the first 2 albums.

So I had kind of an interesting thing happen yesterday at work. There is this 20 something kid that used to work for me, but now works in another area of the company. When he used to work in my area we used to talk music and beer quite a bit. So yesterday I happened to run into him. He was kind of exited and goes “man, have you ever heard of this band Greta Van Fleet”? I said that I had, and although I find them a bit derivative of Led Zeppelin I liked them. This kid starts going into how great they are, and how he just discovered them and how he has been basically obsessing about their music for the last few weeks, and that he figured they would be the kind of band I would like. He also mentioned that it led him to discover The Struts, Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown and some other younger talented rock n roll bands. Say what you want about Greta’s talent, but I think they are starting to turn at least some younger people back on to real rock n roll played by real musicians. My buddy’s daughter, who is in her early 20’s, is the same. She totally loves GVF and it has led her to other rock bands (she typically listens to EDM).
