In this new Rolling Stone interview/article, we learn that this album is the long-rumored project “Uzlot”, the names of the guys in his touring band, and the fact that ”his version of Yes [is] taking the year off.”

No Bay Area or Northwest dates. And is it just me, or do a lot of these venues looks sort of... meh?
I'm not familiar with anyone in the band. I'm guessing they're working for peanuts cuz that's a fairly large ensemble to be hauling around to promote an album nobody's heard. Yes fans are very temperamental and if it doesn't strike the right chord (pun intended) there could be a lot of empty seats awaiting them.
Michael Franklin (keyboards)
Tim Franklin (bass)
Matt Brown (drums)
Tommy Carlton (guitar)
Jocelyn Hsu (percussion)
Antonio Esposito (keyboards)
Chris Charles (saxophone)
Sax? Ruh roh.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
Genesee Theater - 2,216.
It's a gorgeous theater, not skanky at all. I have 2nd row.
Band line-up sounds good. Jon has been sounding fantastic on ARW tours. Hits the right chord for me.
Looks like he is all over the place with the venue sizes for this tour. Sometimes it is not about the size but the best deal that they could strike with the promoter and venue:
Maryland Creative Arts Center - 725
Lynn Auditorium - 1245
Ridgefield Playhouse - 500
Tupelo Music Hall - 700
Carnegie Library Music Hall - 1000+ seats and a beautiful theater.
"The White Zone is for loading and unloading only. If you got to load or unload go to the White Zone!"
There are clips of the songs on the 1000hands site ,not bad
Anyone have the Kirby Center password??

Michael Franklin has posted this tour band update:
Michael Franklin, producer, musical director and keyboards,
Timothy Franklin (bass),
Matt Brown (drums),
Tommy Carlton (guitar),
Jocelyn Hsu (violin),
Steady Joseph (percussion),
Joe Cosas Keyboards, Trombone, Guitar and Vocals
Billy Meethers Reeds, Guitar and Vocals.
And Jon checking in himself about the upcoming "3 year" tour:
I’m here in Orlando Florida ...rehearsing my new band of wonderful talented musicians...I’ve always wanted an ensemble of happy peeps to perform and tour the world with, and these are the perfect musicians ....we will be
playing the classic YES songs, songs from the new 1000 Hands album, plus a few surprises, including a couple of Olias songs...just so much fun to hear such a great sounding band....looking forward to seeing you everywhere over the next 3 Years or so...this tour is all about playing to as many people as possible, even places I havent been for a while..and new places I’ve dreamed of singing in...
sending love and forever light...a very happy Jon
So much for that ARW album....
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
I checked ticket sales for Lynn Auditorium...not good.

Radio interview about the album:
Jon is great! Very interesting interview, thanks for posting.
Looks like the 3-yr tour is continuing into the summer, as a date at the Ocean City (NJ) Music Pier for Monday July 29th has been announced:

Anyone need second row center? Lynn Auditorium appears to have sold about 100 seats.
Interesting interview with Jon (from the link I provided above).. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=TLqH3FIDzc8
