    Who's going?
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

I'm taking my wife to Halloween Adventure on 4th avenue next week. I don't think I'll do the movie.

Excited to see the movie this weekend.

Even MORE excited for the soundtrack to arrive in my mailbox later this week
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

I am going to wait until I see some reviews. The sequels have already been done to death, but maybe this will be a good one.

I'm anxious to see this. They're retconning all the sequels with this one. This is effectively Halloween II: The Do Over. And I just saw the first movie a few weeks ago, so it's fresh in my mind, so I'm looking forward to this.

Reviews have been very positive. Supposedly the best after the 1978 original. The story stars Jamie-Lee Curtis 40-years later. Check out these trailers:

Is Carpenter involved in the project ?

Yes he is...doing the score, and apparently offered some comments to the director but by and large seems to feel this one is in great hands as is.

That sounds good !!!. I've just got the last one with Jamie Lee Curtis from the library , but haven't seen it yet.

I hope you mean H2O which kinda/sorta doesn't suck, and not Resurrection, which was abysmal beyond words. You should hear Curtis describe it in interviews

I actually also have a soft spot for Halloween 4; it's pretty much standard-fare late 80's slasher material, but it's pretty darn effective and tries to minimize the cheese.

I'm not really an aficionado, but I thought this one was pretty good.

I really don't follow slasher horror movies, but didn't the guy get his head chopped off?

Not sure, but why should that matter? Logic rarely plays a role in these movies.

I think that was H20. Michael put his mask on another guy and Laurie chopped his head. It wasn't revealed until the beginning of the next movie.

To paraphrase Ian Anderson, really don’t mind if I sit this one out.

They are basically throwing every movie made after the original in the garbage bin - so this is effectively Halloween II. 40 years later after the original (1978).
