    Janos Varga has 3 solo instrumental albums all in the same style. I believe that you would like all 3.

    In a similar style, try some early Buckethead where he is a bit more restrained in his playing, such as, Electric Tears, Colma, and Population Override. There could be others in this vein but he releases so much material I am years behind
