This has popped up on YT and is quite stunning. I kind of miss Andy Wards skittering hi hat work , but this band is great and Andy looks in great form here.

Great stuff. Andy still plays superbly, and Peter Jones is impressive in all departments.
Now it would be nice if they could make a new album, with the line-up now stable for a few years.

Not sure about a new album yet myself...The line-up's only been 2 years hasn't it? Not even toured UK yet.

Yes, he joined early in 2016, it seems. I was under the impression it had been longer. But he's settled in so well, not just as a keyboard player but also as a vocalist (and occasional wind player) that he sounds like he's been in the band forever. And course Denis has been drumming with them nearly 20 years now.

Hadn't realised this was from a commercially available DVD - thought it was a webcast. Thanks for making that clear.

One of the best Camel DVDs by far. Terrific set, and great sound.

A more recent gig at Night of the Prog 2018, Camel played Moonmadness entirely.

Here is a very good video of that performance. Excellent performance as usual, but why Latimer is sitting on a chair? I hope everything is ok.

I still prefer Andy and Colin to do the vocals. Sounds unlike ' Classic Camel ' to me. To each his / her own...

You obviously haven't read the CP site updates. Andy suffered illness during the first leg of the tour. He has a hernia, and was advised to sit down whilst playing. He also had pneumonia, which caused 1 show to be cancelled.

Well, they both still sing some of the songs. But Jones is clearly a stronger vocalist in purely technical terms, perhaps because he's simple younger, whereas Bass seems to be straining a bit. I like Latimer's voice in small doses, but not to the point where I consider it a sacrilege that he lets other members sing songs he originally sang, which happened in the past when Richard Sinclair or Chris Rainbow were in the band.

It's not about age really, I don't think Jones has the feel for the songs. Technical doesn't bother me, it's all about the warmth.

    Careful, you'll trigger Carlberg.
