The show was great, but Lukather and Rollie were buried in the mix. I just don't get it with some of these soundboard operators.

It's really frustrating when that happens. You have to wonder if they can hear well enough to be running sound.

Glad the show was good though!

I think half of these guys are listening through headphones and not walking the venue to see what it really sounds like. This was a BEAUTIFUL theater with great acoustics. It should have sounded perfect.

And now added Roger Waters' "Pros and Cons!" Great album, it's been too long.

LOL! I love the Andrews Sisters. I watched a few Abbott & Costello movies recently so heard and saw them for a few numbers. Man, they're fun!

It was a Hermeto Pascoal weekend for me:

All of Mundo Verde Esperança, and So Nao Toca Quem Nao Quer. Two of his more relaxed albums. I also listened to a nice recording I picked up on Dime of Hermeto & band live in São Paulo December 2013.

Lately I've been listening exclusively to various versions of "I'm no Communist". Ol' Grandpa Jones has a smashing rendition, but so does Lulu Belle & Scotty and Morse Hammer, nephew of Jan and MC Hammer and the lovechild of Neal's aunt Olga.

And I too would like to own a cow.

Them Crooked Vultures. I just finished reading the Zep bio When Giants Walked the Earth and had to hear Jonesy's recent work. He's immense on that record, but over all not a re-do for me.

The double-entendre songs by Hartman's Heartbreakers, such as "Let Me Play with Your Yo-Yo." Risque for the 1930s.
