    A fairly big festival band that always seemed to be part of those triple bill shows was The Marshall Tucker Band. Always thought they put on a show nearly as good as the Allmans or Skynyrd did. Seen them with Kansas, J Geils and Dickey Betts and Great Southren on various tours.

    I recall an LA forum in 1976 or 1977 with Aerosmith, Ronnie Montrose, and Mott the Hoople
    Also around the same time at the old Anaheim Stadium Yes, Gentle Giant, Peter Frampton (may have been more than 3)

    Gary Wright played between GG and Frampton. I saw that same bill in San Diego at the Balboa Stadium.

    There's a video for one Wright's singles, that was shot at one of the shows on that string of shows he did with Yes. There's shots from the front of the stage where you get a glimpse of the Crab Nebula lighting rig. Unfortunately, that's probably the best footage we'll ever see of it.
