Not a stoner rock band but this specific track is a serious heavy spaced-out mindfucker!

    Danish band:
Elevatorfører - Den Hypnotiske Jakke, from the live album 'Opkald fra ukendt etage'.

Translated: Elevator man - the hypnotic jacket from the live album 'a call from an unknown floor'

I dug it too, though it could have used a little more jamming. It appears to only be available as a vinyl release?

Not stoner per se, but I'm curious if anyone has the newest Causa Sui "Pewt'r Sessions 3" and if it's worth it. The camples I heard sounded more like improv noodling than coherent songs.

I'm a fan though I prefer the more streamlined Wilderness Heart that was released in 2010 as I find it to be a more consistent album start to finish. Their debut is wildly inconsistent but interesting nonetheless. I had a chance to see them co-headline with Black Mountain in 2010. It was a superb double-header!

Love the early Black Mountain stuff. My preference goes to the "Druganaut" mini album from 2005. Saw them live during the "Wilderness Heart" tour but they bored me...

I was on Bandcamp over the weekend after listening to your sample and I did not see the digital download available. It was just streaming...Better look again.

They put on a good show, esp. when they delve into material from their first 2 albums. I don't even have their latest as they seem to have found a formula with Phosphene Dream and repeated on the newest one; according to samples I heard.

Unlike spacefreak I thought Black Mountain put on a great show. They've moved away from a stoner-tinged sound to embrace a hipster-friendly neo psyche but I enjoy that style.

The new style ain't bad. Perhaps they weren't on a good day, they sounded tired and uninvolved...

About a year ago they played near here on the same date as Gov't Mule played Evansville, IN. I was into the Mule at the time and chose to see them, which turned out to be a lousy experience. So next time TBA play Louisville or nearby, i'll jump on 2 tix.

The Mule turned in a lousy show? Wow.

Love the last two Black Mountain albums. I thought the debut was weak. I've played the hell out of the last two albums.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

The debut is uneven. It has a few strong moments and a few wtf? moments....
