Brand New Umphrey's McGee Album 'It's You'!!

Seems like the Umphs are on a bit of a roll at the moment: after the release of It's Not Us back in January, they've now followed up with a second volume - It's You. Details here:

Unfortunately, It's Not Us dropped the day I was due to return to China from the UK, so I've yet to hear it (it'll be waiting for me when I get back in July). In this case, I've bought the new album, and will also download the free online version you get with the cd version. Will report back in a couple of days when I've had a chance to listen to it. Must admit the last time they did something like this, I much preferred the follow up, The Bottom Half to the initial release, Safety in Numbers. Be interesting to see if history repeats itself...

Anyone else interested in this?

Yup, interest here. I like most of 'It's Not Us'. Especially when they get heavy. Whistle Kids on the other hand *gag*

When I saw them back in the winter they only did two tracks from the new album and one of them was "Whistle Kids". I agree, one of the worst songs they have ever recorded. There were much better choices to perform live.
