I have a ticket for Wednesday, looking forward to it.
Yeah, that sounds lovely. Very cool that he's doing this.

Those don't sound like theres a huge audience there, is that even possible??
What a great setlist, its so great one of them is giving some love to their back catalogue and not giving in to their classic rock sets. I hope to god they put something out, cant imagine them not, fingers crossed.

It's actually rather a nice, rare thing...between the three surviving members of PF, we have musicians performing just about all eras of the band: Waters focuses on his material plus the classic repertoire, Gilmour focuses a bit on his era as well as the classics, and now Mason is covering the earliest era the other two typically only glance upon.
Coupled with the fact that while PF itself is a thing of the past, the band members are now in a more peaceful place with their respective legacies...I think it's all quite lovely to see. Top props to Mason for making this happen, and I hope it continues to be a fun project for him and for we fans of those early tunes

I hope Steven Wilson won't get any ideas...
This was the invited guests kickoff. Review says "a few hundred."

Apparently, first night had about 500. The subsequent nights apparently will be smaller (250 capacity).

Good grief, can you imagine what would happen if they toured NA? The scalped ticket prices would approach Hamilton-like levels.
Hopefully more vids will surface for the many who can't be there. It doesn't seem to be the type of thing they'd want recorded. It just seems more like a "Hey, wouldn't it be a gas if we did this?" bit of fun.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

Ahh, I see and makes sense. Great review in the telegraph as well. Mason kills me: “To my eternal shame, I only got 50 per cent on an online Pink Floyd quiz,” admitted Mason. “So if you’ve got any questions, just ask the person standing next to you. They probably know more than I do.”
Still, the article only mentions smaller audiences moving forward as well. I wonder if the early work, or the lack of Gilmour or Waters has anything to do with that? Probably I guess. I know Mason is probably the quietest of all of them including Wright. And I wonder if HE toured his solo works how populated they would have been? All in all, Im super happy this work is getting to see the light of day once again.
Bravo Nick!
I was at Dingwallls on Sunday. The guest list did look big. You could see it as we got to the entrance of the venue. But the place was rammed and very hot. Even though the place had tiers it was still difficult to see. Although those at the sides looked to have good views. It was a wonderful set. But it was done seriously but light heartedly at the same time, if that makes sense. Having been to the half moon at Putney, I don't thing that place is any bigger. But I did hear that if all goes well a tour might follow in September
To add, we were not on the guest list. The guy I went with sorted tickets as you would do normally. Guess though, with so few tickets to be had, he/we got lucky
