I finally finished reading this yesterday. It's taken so long because I found the reprinted interviews, well, often boring. They needed to be edited, taking out all the descriptive material that was so much a characteristic of UK weekly music journalism. Having said that, the new features assessing each of the albums in turn are excellent & clearly written by people with a deep knowledge and understanding of this music.
