Definitely a bright spot for us Giant fans. This kid is special.

Eli was a very good if not great QB. Flacco is better than Trent Dilfer, the patron saint of game managers. All the teams associated with the QBs you mentioned had historically great defenses, except for Philly

    1. Aaron Rodgers

None of them in the play-offs.

Rookie contract and balanced team is the way to go.

    Rams — Jared Goff
    Bears — Mitch Trubisky
    Texans — Deshaun Watson
    Cowboys — Dak Prescott
    Ravens — Lamar Jackson
    Chiefs — Patrick Mahomes

Or have a QB with a supermodel wife who out earns the QB.
I don't view the Chiefs as a balanced team. Their defense is pretty bad.

Also, you do still have to put a team around a good/great QB. No one player can do everything. Also, at least four of those guys in your second list are going to get mega contracts in the (nearish) future.

Mayock knows his stuff. That should work out well with all those draft picks they have!
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Rumor has it that Rex Ryan wants to coach the Dolphins. Um, NO. God no. Fuck no.

I read today the Steelers benched Brown yesterday. They should send him to the Dolphins, then maybe they could keep the Patriots out of the playoffs.

And I didn't watch a lot of Steelers games this year, but in the ones I did, Ben missed a bunch of throws he used to complete. That window may be starting to close.

On so many fronts. It starts with the head coach. Tomlin must go. There is no accountability on this team under him. Belichick would never
tolerate the diva tantrums on this team. No discipline, no accountability. Tomlin's record against sub .500 teams on the road is also sub .500
That is totally unacceptable. His inability to have his team ready against inferior opponents is legendary. On a must win game yesterday against
the second and third string of the Bengals, he barely eked out a win. Head coach and defensive coordinator need to go.

It struck me while watching the bottom screen ESPN ticker today, talking about which teams are interested in interviewing which head coach candidates, that Mike McCarthy's name wasn't anywhere to be found.

^ Good point, Geez. I hadn't noticed that while watching the crawls, but I'm glad my Browns aren't pursuing him or Josh McDaniel.

Lions not renewing Jim Bob Cooter's contract. Not a big surprise considering the year that they have had.

He should still have a job if they ever do a Dukes Of Hazzard revival.

Looks like he and Gruden are old pals. I hope this works out. Big admirer of Mayock's knowledge. We have to get these picks right, though the 2nd and 3rd first rounders are gonna be very low in the order.

Ravens are favored over Chargers Sunday, but Chargers are better odds to win the super bowl. Go figure.

Ravens get the home game since they are division winners and Bolts are a WC.
