Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Yeah, a bit. But the Eagles have no one to blame but themselves. Allowing Cam frickin' Newton to come back from 17 down in the 4th was inexcusable. The Tennessee game also.
Brian Dennehy: "I'm now 80 and I'm just another actor and that's fine with me. I've had a hell of a ride," ... "I have a nice house. I haven't got a palace, a mansion, but a pretty nice, comfortable home. I've raised a bunch of kids and sent them all to school, and they're all doing well. All the people that are close to me are reasonably healthy and happy. Listen, that's as much as anybody can hope for in life."

I don't know what was more impressive Harris's 99 yard TD run or Keenum's about 14 yard run avoiding a sack for a loss and about five missed tackles.

Trust me, we Eagles fans couldn't care less about that.

I don't think so. They'll wake up and remember that glorious season when they became champions. That can't be taken away, and will taste just as good 20 years from now.

My youngest daughter told me yesterday that she x-rayed one of the Ravens at work. She's had the chance to x-ray a couple of them this season.

Are they volunteering or are they being x-rayed against their will?

Glad to see The Raiders put together their most complete game of the season on National TV. Denver looks in total disarray. Elway probably has one more shot at a new head coach and QB before he is shown the door...Keenum is not the answer and the team has given up on the current head coach.

Apparently, Mike Tannenbaum (GM) is getting fired after this season. What does it mean? Fire this guy, fire that guy, nothing changes. I'd fire the HC before firing the QB.

I've seen some sad moves by ex-athletes but Joe Namath doing Medicare scam ads is a new low.

There are only 3 or 4 ads where I dive for the "mute" button as soon as they come on. Namath's Medicare scam ad is one of them. He sounds like a 19th century carnival barker peddling snake oil.

I hope the Ravens defense shows up today because I don't really trust Action Jackson.

I don't know. They just had an extensive piece on him on ESPN, and they made him sound like the unstoppable weapon. I figure if he played for the Cowboys or the Giants, ESPN would have him in the HOF already.
