Foles is such an enigma. They ran some stats on him on the radio last night. He's one of the all-time greats, stats-wise, during his wins (seriously). But he's among the all-time worst in his losses. He's really had a strange career.

Atlanta has to be besides themselves this morning. So many opportunities to win that game. So many red zone opportunities with nothing to show for it. The Eagles gift-wrapped that game for them, and they refused to take it.

Oh well. I'll take the W.

Probably a little bit of that. But Jenkins has been pretty vocal about putting last year behind them and moving on to a new season.

And you just described the Dolphins. That is the their legacy in the Tanny era. Move the ball between the 20s almost at will,............settle for 3.

That game last night felt more like a couple of Division II schools battling than a contest between the Super Bowl champs and a contender. I fear that Sunday we'll see more of the same.

I think it's going to be a long season for you, Vic.

On the sports talk program I listen to, they do a roundtable every Friday during football season where they predict the outcomes of the weekend's games. For the Fins game, 3 of the guys prefaced their pick with "The Dolphins are terrible."
    They're probably right.

If we have another losing season ( below .500 record) the coach will get fired.

Really wish they would turn off the H.A.A.R.P. machine.

    something we all agree on!
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I don't get the hate for Collinsworth; or rather, I don't understand why some differentiate one color commentator from another. They're all a necessary evil at this point. With a 50-page thread on obscure beer brands it shouldn't surprise me that you guys are conesuirs of color commentators as well. 😜

With Collinsworth, it's more a case of dislike. You want hate? Bring up Joe Buck.

The major failing of color commentators on sports broadcasts is their phobia of moments of silence. They feel a need to cram every moment with verbiage, which inevitably lends itself to inane twaddle.

I don't really hate him, but his bias against the Eagles in the Super Bowl was very off-putting.

Him either. I don't watch games to listen to who's in the booth. A game isn't degraded or elevated by who's calling the game. It's all about the action on the field. The shittiest games aren't saved by the best play-by-play/color guys.
