    Billy Cobham

He's coming through town in March as the Crosswinds Project. I want to see him regardless but has anyone seen the tour as yet? Crosswinds is still one of my favorite fusion albums.

I have not seen that tour. I saw him on the 45th anniversary of Spectrum tour about 2 years ago (?).

The band was good but a bit faceless, IMO. Great players but....

However, Billy was in FABULOUS form and was really just tearing it up in a way I really wanted but didn’t expect!

So, I just focused on him and had a great time.

I’m sure you will enjoy yourself, since you like that album so much!

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]

"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"

please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.

I saw him for the Spectrum40 tour and he had Gary Husband (the drummer) on Keyboards and his longtime guitarist Dean Brown. It was pretty great!
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
