The latest FB Post from SW:
My remix of Marillion's 1994 concept album Brave will be released as part of the second in a series of deluxe box set editions of the 8 albums the band made for EMI between 1982-1995. It will be available in 4CD/Blu-Ray and 5LP vinyl box set form, both issued by Parlophone / RHINO on 9th March. The CD/BD version includes both the original stereo mix, my new stereo and 5.1 mixes, and a complete live performance from Paris in April 1994 newly mixed by Michael Hunter. The vinyl set includes the new stereo mix and the Paris show recording.

Totally looking forward to getting my sweaty palms on this one. I'm guessing it will arrive mid-March. Easily my favourite Marillion album.

It does. It’s a shame that rating code thing had to go on the front of the Blu-Ray. When Fish released the deluxe Feast of Consequences set they made a certain number of copies without the code that could sell through Fish’s shop, but the retail copies had to have it. The Misplaced Childhood deluxe for some stupid reason had a big sticker on the front (instead of on the shrink wrap) that pulled off some of the ink.

As trivial as it sounds, that's good to know. Should I ever get around to buying the MC set, I'll remember not to try and remove that sticker.

A few years ago, there was a massive cock up when the manufacturers used far too much glue on the info sheet attached to the rear of the McCartney 'Band on The Run' super deluxe box...

My guess is that since Marillion and Fish were selling signed copies the manufacturer provided them with non-shrink wrapped copies, but they put the sticker on the front anyway! I think Racket removed the sticker, not me.

Oh well, the McCartney kerfuffel sounds much worse.

The 'way too much glue' thing was also an issue for the Brian Eno Vocal box.

I really like the autographed copy/picture of Brave. I might even frame it.

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I'm thinking I'll frame it as well.

Really nice, eh? I'll only frame it because it so special.

No way...Script and Fugazi first please.

Ah man, I'm really hoping Clutching is next in the pipeline. I'd probably still get Fugazi and Script, but CaS is really the one I want first.

CaS is the only one they’ve said for sure will get a remix. It’s also probably the one I’ve listened to most over the years so I’ll notice changes the most. Well, Script and Fugazi I would too. Would definitely like these book editors of all three.

Matters not to me. Brave was the only one I wasn't getting. I'm all in from here on out.

For me, Brave was probably the last one to get.

While I enjoy the 5.1-mix, it is in no way a revelation. MC was also a bit underwhelming (not surprisingly).
I know all of this Marillion stuff so inside out that I really don't need to buy it anymore.
