    Fundriaser for Tim Smith (Cardiacs)

I know there are others here who have been touched and/or inspired by Tim's music. He has been confined to a wheelchair barely able to move or speak following a heart attack 10(!) years ago. Here's a fundrasier trying to get him proper care and rehabilitation.

    Hi Bob,

Of course this was extensively discussed in the Cardiacs thread but indeed this topic deserves a thread of its own.

For a bit more background, here;s the supporting article that appeared yesterday in the 'i'- paper:
    https://inews.co.uk/news/long-reads/...-brain-injury/

And here is a lenghty statement on the cardiacs website.
    http://www.cardiacs.net/tim-smith-health-2018/

Because of the enormous succes the goal of the campaign has been raised from 40.000 to 100.000 pound to be able to give him a full year treatment. The fundraising campaign will be also be active the full year.

    Tim Smith (Cardiacs) Healthcare crowdfunding/update

I know that some of you don't read the Cardiacs thread here at PE, but there is a new crowdfunding donation drive happening for Tim Smith. The entire backstory can be found at the official Cardiacs website, as well as a new article just released yesterday on iNews UK. I don't want this information and opportunity for donating to be just buried on the other thread, so I started this.

I'm sure most of you know that Tim has touched me (and so many others) in a way that is impossible to properly convey into words. Imagine your favorite artist/composer, multiply that by 750, and that is a start. He is an amazing person that needs some financial assistance to continue rehabilitation treatments.

Good man Bob! We think alike, and I apologize in advance for that fact.

Truth is - you and Tim are two of my biggest musical inspirations for the past oddly-oddly-eedly-weedly years, carry the 7.

Bump. If you can cough up even just a fiver, that would be generous and noble of you.

(Credit must be given to William D. Drake, who co-wrote this one...no slight intended. He's an amazing writer; no wonder Tim chose to work with him.)
