    White Christmas in Seattle

Wow, very pretty. This doesn't happen very often.

Gonna screw up travel something fierce though.

On a group text Christmas greeting this morning one of the members who lives in Snohomish, Washington mentioned the snow. Pretty rare indeed for that area.

Out here on the tundra we got half a foot of the stuff, not to mention a current temp of minus fourteen with a "feels like" minus forty. Our dogs do their business outside with great haste.

They are easier to clean up after as well... just bring a 9-iron with you on your walk.

We did it last year too. Unlike the "Christmas Story" movie, the place was jam packed with an hour wait.

I spent my entire childhood in the Seattle area and only once do I recall a white Christmas. So its rare for sure, all my High school buddies are posting pictures on facebook. I'm sure its lovely. Just stay out off the roads, like anywhere else where snow is rare, its usually the crazies that you have to watch out for.

Erie, PA, just got 53 inches in two days - a new record for them.

Gotta love that lake-effect snow. (Or not.)

    Just don't hit it fat.
Perhaps finding the happy medium is harder than we know.
