    This one's high up!

Somehow strangely, I'll just betcha they still won't make those Prog Awards. Wrong country, wrong sound, wrong influences, wrong effect, wrong narrative. Dammit.

It's being released tomorrow, so I will wait a few hours before getting this from bandcamp.

I pre-ordered this album but didn't receive any code or email? Any idea why?
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

There was a crowdfunding first, then it was put up as a pre-order on Bandcamp. I'm just guessing, but they may have rewarded backers of the crowdfunding by sending their downloads / CDs earlier - I got both yesterday.

Great album! Certainly has a bit more variety then a Poil album. Have to wait how this sinks in, but could be a winner.

This year already great releases from Camembert, Aquaserge and Pinoil. The French rule prog!

Thank you for the cheese man! I was just listening to Aquaserge and Piniol yesterday. Aquaserge really openened new synapses in my brain. Their music is full of surprises.
And Piniol is now really going in a post-KC vein.

For modern out of the box european prog lovers, maybe you would be interested in Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp (switzerland)

Having seen them live twice, I was a bit underwhelmed with the album-
First off, the "double band" effect does not come thru as well as in the live show.
Then there is the production which is lacking dynamics- it sounds very compressed to my ears (it could be the material itself which is very dense without any stops to breathe)
Its not that it is a bad album, as it is still great, just not as great as I expected...

I understand flytomars. That was my first reaction too.

I am convinced that this needs some chemical assistance of a sort. I listened on extra-strong greek raki influence - it is a spirit, therefore completely legal - and the gates were opened wide. The tension of the music is incredible, this is sick beyond sickness.

They have to be one of the most unconventional bands I've heard in my life. I so much hope that I get to see them live at some point.

Yep, alcohol is the drug of choice for this album, any other might cause a panic attack

I enjoyed the album but was not totally blown away like Fly to Mars. This really means very little because sometimes music requires multiple spins to begin to reveal itself, especially music this intense and complex. The last Poil album blew me away from the first note, but that's the way things work sometimes. I will admit that watching videos live of this band is a bit more exciting then the audio only.

You should have seen Poil run around the theatre in their bright red underwear at RIO before the show to announce to everyone that they were about to go on!
