ARENA-The Visitor 20th anniversary remastered edition

Find this upcoming release a bit frustrating to say the least as it's only a vinyl release. Not sure the original mix needs to be remastered anyway? I guess this is more for the collector & the signed poster by The Visitor lineup must be tempting to the fans!

I will be definitely picking up the CD.

Easily my favorite album from one of my favorite groups.

I agree.... why does it need a remix/remaster? It is one my favorite because it sounds so good.

I too feel that this remaster isn't necessary but likely done to help raise money for the new recording

Ah, how did I miss that?? Will buy this for the extra 'live' disc though there are an abundance of previously live CD's from the tour so don't think it's essential!
Will buy it direct from the bands website to hopefully give them some financial support to release new material & tour!

Agree, the original is a great sounding disc to my ears. Love this album, but probably will not be replacing it.

The Visitor is their best album. Immortal? only slightly behind. Anyway I see no room for improvement on the original. And since their last 2 bad albums have abandoned their progressive tradition, why even bother with a re-release except for a cash grab?

Haha! That means it was 20 years since I bought an Arena album - how time flies
