The Laughing Apple due September 15. When Tea for the Tillerman came out I remember falling in love with that album. I still love it to death. Cat Stevens made a string of great albums throughout the 70's. My favorites being Tea for the Tillerman and Catch Bull at Four with a notable nod to Teaser and the Firecat and Foreigner. I don't expect this to return to his glory days but it's nice to see him back once again.

Cat Stevens certainly has an impressive catalog. Let's hope this thread stays on track. Glad to hear there is a new release.
A tour would be cool. But, I doubt that would happen.

It might could. He toured about two years ago; I took my wife to see him (a bucket-list concert for her). He was amazing.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.
Doubtful he could get into the US if he wanted to.
Not a problem if he's not coming from one of the Obama watchlist nations our current President decided to enact a temporary ban on.

He was in the US a few years ago when Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert held their Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. Cat/Yusuf singing Peace Train cut heads with Ozzy singing Crazy Train.....funny as hell.
Earlier, during the W. Bush administration, Cat/Yusuf was banned from the US. On the Late Show, Paul Shaffer started singing a song laced with "death to America" and such. Dave asked Paul what in the world he was singing. Paul picked up the sheet music and said it was the latest song by Cat Stevens......also funny as hell.
