For fans of Supersilent, Experimental Jazz stuff: Serenus Zeitblom Oktett

Discovered this little nugget via a newsletter. Might appeal to folks 'round these parts who can get past the lack of capes and/or massive ego battles over dying band trademarks...

I love the music, but the video is a little negative.

    No CD I take it?
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Is there a competing version of this band to compare them with? And perhaps an article on this fenomena in an upcoming issue of Prog? And why isn't this music trying just a littlebit harder to sound like other progs? Is it because most other prog is too complex and the musicians of this inkredibly obskur band therefore can't play it? *I* (me!!) surely never heard of them before, alas they are per definsjon obskur. And not very good anyway, 'cause then I'd heard about them.

    [Thanks for posting, John].

I once collapsed on a mossy hillock with a leather jerkin and pipe and wept after I heard this album.
