George Soros Secretly Funding Progressive Rock Groups

*satire post I found and thought it'd be worth a chuckle maybe*

Through a complex maze of underground back channels, Soros has been systematically and methodically supporting militant prog rockers with free studio time, musical gear, touring vans and marketing funds.

Not that farfetched. Many festivals are owed by a couple of right-wing Coloradan billionaires.

I wonder if this is in response to the recent New Yorker piece which mentions how Bill Martin claimed that "he saw progressive rock as an “emancipatory and utopian” movement—not a betrayal of the sixties counterculture but an extension of it."

    Damn Marxists!

P.S. Isn't that a 'shopped photo of Geddy Lee with his 1979 keyboard rig?

Everyone knows the way to become a millionaire is to start with a billion dollars -- then put on a rock festival.

If anyone has the money to get a Yes Union II, it is Soros!

And they still wouldn't be interested.

Wow does that mean that Ted Nugent is really a far-lefty working for Soros?

Is Ted Nugent prog? No, I don't think so my friend. Everyone in the know knows he's a crypto-papist, and ultimately concerned with reestablishing the Merovingian bloodline in seats global of power.

I love the names of the "people" quoted in the article: Robert Waters and Keith Wakeman.

The comments are pretty hilarious, too.

The Global Luciferian Order has targeted prog audiences for a long time.
Unusual time signatures send odd patterns to the brain and trigger irrational behaviours like endlessly debating about subgenres or buying several copies of the same album.
    Scary.

It gets worse. His dark pool, tax-haven based, hedge fund operating intermediaries are paying your favourite underground prog bands to do cassette-only releases from now on. Those bastardly sonsabitches!
