    Flounder is Dead

Actor Stephen Furst who memorably played Flounder in the movie Animal House died. He was 63. Part of an amazing ensemble in that movie I will remember his fantastic delivery of the line, " May I have 10,000 marbles please?"
    RIP

He was also great on both St. Elsewhere and Babylon 5. He was also in a great, underrated movie from the early 80's called Up The Creek. Reputedly, Kim Jong Un modeled his haircut on that of Vir Cotto, Furst's character on Babylon 5.

I loved St. Elsewhere, & I identified with Dr. Axlerod.

He made a cameo appearance (reprising his Animal House character) at the end of Twisted Sister's video for "I Wanna Rock"

Loved Flounder in Animal House and Axelrod in St. Elsewhere. His battles with Mrs. Hufnagel were quite comical.

RIP. Flounder was a good role to be remembered by but Axlerod showed he had range and as Vir, well that's where I will always remember him best.
