Songs From The Wood - The Country Set (new thread for actual reviews)

I appreciate there's a long thread already running on this reissue, but wondered if it would be helpful to set up a new one specifically for folk to post more detailed reviews, now that the box set is released? (I'm sure I won't be the only one....)

So, without further ado...ladies and gentlemen, I give you:

Hope you find something of interest inside.

5.1 Mix is good. What a shame. If there ever was a recording that deserved lossless audio for preservation high end sweetness, this would be one. Guess doing that would have shamed the vinyl sales. Almost all of the previous SW mixes were released in HD lossless. F!!k you Ian Anderson.

I just listened to the 96khz 24bit stereo remix. The bit rate is 3 times the bit rate of the 5.1 and the highs and sibilants are definitely sweeter, even though Im listeneing to extended stereo which uses all 5.1 speakers.
