Not really Christian's biological father. He was married to his mother, but from what I read he and Christian never really bonded.

This French obituary indicates Maurice had two sons, Christian and Laurent. Presumably the release (mentioned on Discogs.com) of "Maurice Vander et Son Ensemble" must have included Laurent, a jazz organist.
