Actually they do, although not this one. I learned it was coming out thanks to this thread. But I usually get e-mails about releases and important gigs.
re: the whole Triton series, to be clear, volumes 1-4 of "Mythes et Légendes" were filmed in 2005, volume 5 in 2011. This is from 2014.

I was fortunate enough to attend one of the concerts they did at Le Triton in 2014, the one the day after the first Lindsay Cooper memorial concert in London. Was it the last one in their residency? I believe so. Anyway, it was a memorable concert, probably the best I've ever seen by any band in my entire life.
Hey, best way to keep up with them is to get both their facebook page and their twitter feed. @MagmaOfficiel

Got the DVD on Saturday and haven't had a chance to watch the concert yet (because I didn't want to drive my girlfriend nuts), but I watched Disc 2 with Christian Vander being interviewed by a guy who looks like one of The Three Musketeers - excellent three part interview with some pretty interesting insights.

Got this on Friday, started watching on Saturday. Damned fine stuff. I do kind of miss the synth solo in part 3 of K.A. but I suppose that's not really where they're at anymore.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Does anyone know if they will release the audio in other formats?

That solo is truly MINDBLOWING!!! And it's such a high point that I really don't miss having the KA and Hhai solos...and actually that truncated section of KA was one of the highlights for me. The whole DVD though might just be Magma's pinnacle IMHO - a few more viewings needed! Beautifully filmed as well. Quite glad they ditched the funeral section though...
Matt.
This has got to be one of the prettiest Magma releases, the soft sections, especially "Om Zanka" and much of Emehntehtt Re sound absolutely pristine.

I wish there was an audio-only option, because I would love to hear the whole thing done by the current band. I don't sit around and watch things much anymore.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Why not? I love the performances - I just don't love the mix on the low end, with the usual 'thin' sounding kick drum and electric bass. That aside, this is one of the definitive performances of the TH Trilogie maybe along with the Epok versions. Magma seems to age quite well like good French wine. I still love the BBC Londres, but its not the full Trilogie. I'm really looking forward to diving into these ER DVDs when they arrive.

Changing the subject, isabelle Feuillebois just got married. My wife is breathing a sigh of relief. :-)

Antoine and Himiko married or siblings? I honestly don't know.
