Mungion is a very nice recommendation, MJ! I've listened to around four or five of their tracks thus far and they definitely remind me a lot of Phish in their prime, but with a modern edge that is overall quite a bit more on the prog side. Larry Coryell was a pioneer in the early years of progressive Rock music. There is no doubt about his influence on the Jazz Rock half of progressive Rock music in the late 60s thru mid 70s and I would not be surprised to find out that he inspired some from the Symph Rock side of progressive Rock music in the first generation of Prog music.
Despite some small-minded individuals who would disrespect the memory of such an artistic giant, he will be missed
